Introduction

YDLiDAR TSA is a 360° 2D LiDAR that uses the ToF principle, it is designed to rotate 360° and continuously output the point cloud data of the scanning environment. It includes unique optics, electricity, and algorithms to achieve stability, precision, sensitivity, and high-speed distance measurement techniques to output point cloud data.

YDLIDAR TSA LIDAR DEVELOPMENT KIT DESCRIPTION

 TSA Lidar*1 (Standard version of the TSA Lidar, internal integrated motor drive, can realize motor stall control and motor control)

 USB Type-C Cable*1 (Use with USB adapter board to connect TSA and PC. USB cable is both a power supply cable and a data cable)

 USB Adapter Board*1 (Realize USB to UART, convenient for the rapid interconnection of TSA lidar and PC. In addition, it provides a Micro USB power interface (PWR) for auxiliary power supply)

Note:

USB Adapter board has two interfaces: USB_DATA, USB_PWR.?USB_DATA: Data powered interface. In most cases, this interface can be used to meet power and communication requirements.?USB_PWR: Auxiliary power supply interface. The USB interface of some development platforms?has weak current drive capability. At this time, the auxiliary power supply can be used.

The principle of Time-of-Flight laser detection

TSA adopts ToF (Time of Flight) ranging technology, which measures the distance according to the round-trip time difference of laser pulses. The lidar ranging accuracy does not change with the distance.

Self-adjusting refresh rate 360° scanning

5Hz-8Hz adaptive scanning frequency, enabling customers to adjust the speed according to the function needed. The mechanical structure is 360° rotation, which continuously obtains angle information, scans and measures in all directions, and stably outputs.

Enclosed cover

The fully enclosed cover protects the internal ranging core. It effectively isolates hair & tiny particles and avoids external interference, further improving lidar stability and user experience.

FDA Class I safety standard

The infrared point pulsed laser used by TSA complies with FDA Class I eye safety standards to protect eye health of children and pets.
